El Fuerte is one of the most popular 5-star beach resorts in Marbella and a historic accommodation in Costa del Sol.

It’s the perfect place to stay for anyone who wants to be on the beachfront, close to Marbella Old Town, restaurants, and cafes.

I absolutely love the reception area. When I stepped in, I loved the neat and luxurious decoration and all the sharing areas, like a cosy library and lounge.

The rooms are spacious and have all the amenities you need: king-size beds, an ensuite bathroom with complimentary toiletries, a flat-screen TV, a minibar and air conditioning for the summer.

Depending on the room you choose, you can get views of their manicured garden or the Mediterranean Sea.

  • 3 restaurants.
  • 3 swimming pools.

Marbella Club Hotel is one of the best Marbella hotels on the beach. Situated between Marbella Centre and Puerto Banus, it’s in a very good location.

I love how this hotel showcases Andalusian culture, which you can see in its whitewashed buildings, structure and decoration. Interestingly, this hotel was the former residence of Prince Alfonso von Hohenlohe, who founded it.

The rooms are spacious and make you feel like royalty – they have comfortable pillows and luxury bedding, a marble ensuite bathroom with exclusive Babor toiletries, and a balcony where you can relax.

However, if you go with your family or a group of friends, you might want to book one of their lovely villas with a pool.
