  • Siroko Beach – best beach club for families.
  • La Cabane – best luxury beach club for couples.

15 Best Beach Clubs in Marbella

1. Amare Beach Club

Amare Beach Club is one of my favourite beach clubs in Marbella city centre.

The beach club belongs to the Hotel Amàre Marbella, an adult-only hotel. All their facilities, including the beach club, can be enjoyed by anyone older than 16.

It’s small, cosy, and has plenty of comfortable and spacious sunbeds you can rent for the day. The price of these varies depending on the month and if there’s any special event. They’re only free for the hotel guests.

Their menu is packed with healthy and light bites that anyone fancies on a hot day in Marbella. You can have anything from sushi and tropical salad with prawns to salmorejo and tuna tartar.

Personally, the daily live music is what makes Amare Beach Club one of the best in this area of Marbella. The music is fantastic, and the atmosphere is so good!

Another great thing is their boozy drinks. They are unique and innovative. Not only can you drink the classic mojito, but also their signature cocktails, which you won’t find anywhere else.

📅 May to September

📍 Address: P.º Alfonso Cañas Nogueras, 29603 Marbella, Málaga, Spain

2. Nikki Beach

Who hasn’t heard of Nikki Beach Marbella? Located next to the Don Carlos Hotel, it’s Marbella’s most renowned beach club. It’s one of the best beach clubs in Marbella for partygoers.

The club opened in 2003 and continues to be a popular choice for many reasons – its luxury vibes, fantastic live music and events, scrumptious food and spectacular views of the Mediterranean Sea.

If you have time, I recommend spending the day at Nikki Beach. If you plan to hire a beach bed or pool dock, you must book in advance; otherwise, you probably won’t get any.

Prices are different for the pool and beach area. A single sun lounger usually costs 50 € for two people. However, a pool deck bed starts from 500 euros for 4 people and includes a bottle of champagne.

Nikki Beach pool area is only for adults, but you can visit their beach and restaurant with children.

Their menu offers international dishes made with local products, and although you can have good and beautifully presented food, the prices are moderate to high. However, if you’re up for a treat, there’s nothing else to say.

A day in Nikki Beach is guaranteed to be fun.

📅 Open from April to September

📍 Address: Carr. de Cádiz, km 192, 29604 Marbella, Málaga, Spain

3. Marbella Club

Marbella pier

Marbella Beach Club belongs to the five-star Marbella Club Hotel located in the Golden Mile.

This beach club is full of sophistication, from its beautiful pastel colours and Mexican touches to its excellent cocktails.

They have a raw bar serving delicious and fresh ceviche, tartare and carpaccio, but you can also enjoy delicious grilled fish and seafood or a ribeye black Angus steak.

The prices are higher than many other restaurants in Marbella, but the presentation of the dishes speaks for themselves.

My favourite part of this beach club is its pier. There’s nothing more magical than watching the sunset with your partner while sipping a cocktail or a glass of wine.

During the summer, you can get a day pass access to the pool and a three-course lunch at Beach Club for €180 per person.

📅 The restaurant is open all year round

📍 Address: Av. Bulevar Príncipe Alfonso de Hohenlohe, s/n, 29602 Marbella, Málaga, Spain

4. Ocean Club Marbella

Ocean Club Marbella is one of the best beach clubs in Puerto Banus, Marbella’s glamorous port, well-known for its expensive yachts and designer boutiques.

Ocean Club won’t disappoint you if you’re after a chic and luxurious beach club. The location is perfect and overlooks the beautiful blue Mediterranean Sea.

Comfortable sunbeds, a huge saltwater pool and the DJ’s live music and dancers make it a memorable day.

The atmosphere is brilliant, and I absolutely love the aesthetic. This club is definitely instagrammable!

They have a wide range of classic cocktails, but their innovative signature drinks are worth trying. You have plenty of options for the food – from light and healthy sushi and salads to delicious wraps, pizza, and pasta.

The beach club is open from May to September, with July and August being the peak season, so book your beds or table in advance to avoid disappointment.

A sun bed for a maximum of three people can cost 195 euros during the low season.

📅 Open from May to September

📍 Address: Av. de Lola Flores, s/n, Nueva Andalucía, 29660 Marbella, Málaga, Spain

5. La Cabane Marbella

Woman with a big hat by the pool at La Cabane, Marbella.

La Cabane is my top choice if you’re looking for a glamorous but laid-back beach club.

The pool is huge and overlooks the beautiful sea, the decoration is simple but beautiful with blue and white details (in fact, the decor is inspired by Dolce & Gabanna), and the food quality is impressive.

Book one of their Balinese-style beds and have some food while enjoying the sunshine and live music. La Cabane makes you feel like you’re on the Amalfi Coast.

Sunbeds are 35 euros per day, while a VIP Balinese-style bed for two people is 190 euros, but it includes a bottle of champagne, a fruit platter and towels.

The pool menu is like no other, and you can eat interesting but delicious combinations like Lobster, Mango and Basil Salad or a Black Truffle Carbonara Pizza.

When it comes to drinks, you must try their signature cocktail, Light Blue D&G, made with Bombay Sapphire, sherry, lemongrass, and vanilla smoke.

📅 Open from late May/early June to September

📍 Address: C. Jabalí, 29603 Marbella, Málaga, Spain

6. Playa Nini Beach

A photo of Playa Nini beach club in San Pedro de Alcantara, Marbella.

Playa Nini Beach is one of the best beach clubs in San Pedro de Alcantara, which is still part of Marbella despite its distance.

The place is aesthetically pleasing and has plenty of seating inside and outside. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, and of course, have fantastic cocktails.

Their fish dishes and paellas are worth trying, and I absolutely love their sunbeds. They’re super comfortable and are directly facing the sea.

If you’re up for a relaxing day with food and drinks at the beach in San Pedro de Alcantara, Playa Nini Beach is your best choice.

📅 The restaurant is open all year round

📍 Address: Av. Mar Mediterráneo, 1, 29670 Marbella, Málaga, Spain

7. La Sala By The Sea

Another famous Puerto Banus beach club is La Sala By The Sea; even celebrities like Craig David have come to this club.

The staff is friendly, the atmosphere and live music are ten out of ten, and the food is gorgeous too.

Book a pool or beach bed, get sun-kissed and sip delicious cocktails while having a blast with your girlfriends or chilling with your partner.

Their restaurant specialises in Thai cuisine, so get ready to eat some delicious Pad Thai with prawns, a Thai Green Curry or Crispy Duck with Pancakes and Hoisin Sauce. However, if you don’t like Asian cuisine, there are also a few salads, burgers and steak.

A good thing about La Sala by The Sea is that you don’t need to pay an entrance fee to see what it is like; however, you can’t use the pool facilities without a bed booking.

Pool bed prices for one person start from 60 euros, and beach bed prices start from 20 euros. You can check the 2024 full-price list here.

Overall, this Thai-inspired beach club is worth visiting, and I would definitely check out their events in advance.

📅 Open from April to October

📍 Address: Av José Banús, Nueva Andalucía, 29660 Marbella, Málaga, Spain

8. Cocoa Beach Marbella

Sunbeds in a beach in Marbella.

Are you staying in the Cabopino area? Then you need to visit Cocoa Beach Club.

Cabopino Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in Marbella, and it’s there where you’ll find the gorgeous Cocoa Beach Club.

In the summer, get in the water and relax in their lounge chairs while sipping their delicious cocktails. In the winter, simply relax in their lovely outdoor seating on a sunny day while having a fantastic meal.

The food is nicely presented and tasty. Their Pil Pil Gambas and fish dishes are so good!

The cocktails are cheaper than other beach bars, but the lower price doesn’t compromise the quality and variety. Whether you love Porn Star Martini or the classic Mojito, you won’t be disappointed.

The atmosphere is laid-back, and the live music is great too. It isn’t a place for partygoers but for those who want to have a chilling day on a nice beach with cocktails and music.

📅 Open all year round

📍 Address: C. de la Playa, s/n, 29604 Marbella, Málaga, Spain

9. John Scott’s Beach

John Scott’s Beach is a short walk from Marbella Old Town, so it’s worth checking out if you’re staying in that area.

Formerly known as Mahiki Beach, it’s a very laid-back and fun beach club in the beautiful Playa de la Venus.

The decoration is a bit quirky, but don’t judge the book by its cover. The music is good but not too loud, allowing you to have conversations; the food is tasty, and the cocktails are even better.

If you love strawberry daiquiris, I’m pretty sure you’ll like theirs.

📅 Open all year round

📍 Address: Av. Duque de Ahumada, 361, 29602 Marbella, Málaga, Spain

10. LUUMA Beach Marbella

LUUMA is a lovely beach restaurant 15 minutes drive from Marbella Centre. Its location is stunning and much quieter than other areas in Marbella.

I love their restaurant overlooking the idyllic Mediterranean Sea, where you can relax with friends and family while feeling the breeze in your hair and listening to chill-out music.

The decoration of this beach club is lovely, with its wooden chairs and tables, green plants, and light colours that match perfection.

The menu is based on fresh and healthy dishes made with local ingredients. You can have anything from sushi and pasta to steak and chips; they have some vegetarian options too.

The cocktails are top-notch, but if you don’t fancy alcohol, their fresh juices and smoothies are worth trying.

If you want to spend the day on the beach, they also offer sunbed rental, but it’s better to make a reservation via their website in case it’s busier than usual and they run out of sunbeds.

📅 Open all year round

📍 Address: C. Playa Hermosa, 204, 29604 Marbella, Málaga, Spain

11. Bounty By BG

Located in Playa del Cable, Bounty By BG is a more budget-friendly beach club compared to others in the city.

Soak up the sun in their sunbeds (luckily, they have plenty of them, so you don’t usually need to worry about booking one!), enjoy a meal with a view or simply have a drink while listening to live music.

📅 May to September

📍 Address: Playa del Cable s/n, 29603 Marbella, Málaga, Spain

12. Aqui Te Quiero Ver “Lunamar”

Aqui que te quiero ver beach restaurant in Marbella.

If you’re looking for a laid-back beach restaurant in a quiet location, I recommend Aquí Te Quiero Ver “Lunamar”.

The restaurant and bar area are beautifully decorated with white and blue colours and plenty of indoor seating.

However, I always prefer to sit down on their terrace overlooking the sea. It’s simply relaxing, especially during off-season.

The food is ten out of ten. They have delicious traditional dishes served in a contemporary way. I’ve tried their Russian Salad, Fried Anchovies with lemon and salad with prawns, avocado and strawberries from their menu. All of them were scrumptious.

They also have a few sunbeds perfect for soaking up the sun and drinking something refreshing.

📅 Open all year round

📍 Address: Playa Real Zaragoza, C. Atenea, s/n, 29604 Marbella, Málaga, Spain

13. Siroko Beach

Siroko Beach is another family-friendly beach club in Marbella, but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy its atmosphere and surroundings if you plan to go with friends or your partner.

The garden area is ideal for families with little ones, as there’s plenty of space for kids to play freely while you enjoy food or a few drinks.

The restaurant is cosy and has a simple but lovely decoration. My food recommendations are the croquetas with chicken and truffle, grilled squid and lobster soupy rice, but they have a wide variety of dishes.

The beach is beautiful too. They have sunbed rental and incredible live music. Order some small bites and cocktails while listening to the amazing saxophonist.

📅 Open all year round

📍 Address: Av. Jardín de Los Pinos, 29604 Marbella, Málaga, Spain

14. The Point Marbella

Not every beach club is kid-friendly, but if you’re looking to spend the day with your kids while enjoying the perks of being on a beach club, The Point Marbella is for you.

Located next to the motorway, this beach club doesn’t get very crowded and has plenty of sunbeds directly on the beach.

On top of that, you can enjoy chilling by their pool or book a water activity like jet-skiing.

Their food menu includes everyone’s favourites, like pizzas and steaks with chips, and Spanish dishes, like paella and fried fish.

It’s also worth trying their mouthwatering Argentinian empanadas!

📅 Open from May to September

📍 Address: Carretera A-7, Km 184,5, 29603 Marbella, Málaga, Spain

Tips for visiting beach clubs in Marbella

  • Don’t take tanning lotions or body glitter with you. Some beach clubs don’t allow them because of carotene and tints.
  • This tip goes especially for anyone celebrating a hen or stag party. Many beach clubs don’t allow fancy dresses. I recommend checking the rules on their websites before turning up dressed.
  • Music and entertainment start at 3 pm, so you know what to expect.

    Hi Cristina,

I am coming to Marbella in May with my four girlfriends and our 4 x 15 year old daughters. Obviously they wont’ be drinking but would still enjoy the beach club vibe. Where you suggest we should go without it being too “family friendly”

    Many thanks

    Vic
