Casa Aduar 10 Review, a Lovely Luxury House in Marbella
Casa Aduar 10 is a beautiful three-bedroom luxury house in the picturesque old town of Marbella.
It’s the perfect holiday home for anyone who wants to stay in the centre of Marbella and is a short walk from the beach.
I loved my stay at Aduar 10 because the house is beautiful, and the friendly owners, Tom and Moyra, ensure everything is okay throughout your stay.
In this blog, I’m going to tell you everything about this lovely house, including what to do and where to eat nearby.

History of Casa Aduar 10

In May 2016, after searching in Marbella Old Town for many years for the perfect property to renovate, Tom and Moyra found Casa Aduar.
As soon as they stepped inside, they could see the potential of building a beautiful luxury home, even in its derelict state. It had all the charm of a small Andalucian village house and was in the perfect location.
They purchased the house from Rafael, who was born and raised in Calle Aduar, and he and his wife are today their very good neighbours.
They applied for our building license in late 2017, and after many months of waiting, they were granted permission to demolish and rebuild the house.
So much hard work went into building the house exactly as they had foreseen. They wanted to create the perfect balance of traditional Andalucian townhouses with all the comforts of modern living.

Much thought and creativity went into the build process, but a good part of the input came from the architect, builders, and especially their project manager, David.
The work was finished in March 2019, and Moyra and Tom opened their doors to guests in the summer of the same year.
Fast forward nearly 4 years, and they have had hundreds of guests from all over the world. They look forward to their future in Marbella and hosting many more guests.
Review of Casa Aduar 10

In a nutshell:
- 3 beautifully decorated bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms
- Living room with a flat-screen TV
- Fully-equipped kitchen
- Andalucian Patio
- Rooftop terrace
- Free high-speed WiFi
- Air conditioning
Aduar 10 is on Aduar Street, a quiet street, a minute walk from the famous Plaza de los Naranjos (Orange Square) in the old town of Marbella.
The moment you step into the house, you can see how much detail has gone into decoration and making it cosy.

On the first floor, you’ll find a beautiful living area with a comfortable sofa and sofa chairs to sit down and watch your favourite film on the big flat-screen TV.
There’s also a glass table with several chairs where you can enjoy a meal.
The kitchen is connected to the living area, making it look bigger. The simple but modern kitchen has everything you need to make any meals you wish during your stay – from a stove, microwave and oven to a dishwasher and a Nespresso coffee-making machine.

You don’t need to worry about utensils as there are plenty of plates, glasses and cutlery.
I only had breakfast at the house, but I loved how big the fridge was. If you plan to stay for a while, the fridge has plenty of space.
Next to the kitchen, you can also find a lovely patio with plenty of seating, cushions and two small tables. It’s the perfect place to enjoy a drink with a loved one, read or do some work (if you work remotely).

When you go to the second floor, you’ll find two spacious bedrooms. Both have been decorated similarly – grey and light pink bedding, cushions, and beautiful lamps on the side – and include an ensuite bathroom with a rainfall shower.
I chose the bedroom you see as you go up. The king-size bedroom was very comfortable and had plenty of pillows.
If you love packing many outfits, you don’t need to worry as there’s a spacious wardrobe with hangers and a safe box to lock any belongings, although I didn’t feel the need to use it.
Some of the things I love about this room are that it has a small balcony with a street view and a big mirror.

On the last floor, there is an extra bedroom with an ensuite bathroom with slightly different decorations from the other two rooms. This one has sea elements and blue navy cushions.

In addition to this, you can also find a big rooftop terrace with lovely seats and a table where you can enjoy breakfast while watching the sunrise and the majestic mountain of La Concha or sunbathe in the comfortable sunbeds.
It was one of my favourite parts of the house!

How to get to Casa Aduar 10

If you’re flying to Malaga-Costa del Sol Airport (AGP), it’s very easy to go from the airport to Aduar 10.
The easiest and quickest way is to rent a car and drive to Marbella. The drive takes about 45 minutes when taking the toll road.
However, if you don’t drive or prefer not to do so, you can also take the AVANZA bus to Marbella, which takes 45-50 minutes and leaves you at Marbella bus station.
Note that the station is at the top of the town, so you’ll need to walk about 15-20 minutes to reach Aduar 10. Alternatively, you can also take a taxi.

Things to do near Casa Aduar 10

Due to its fantastic location, there are many things to do near Aduar 10. Here are some of my favourites:
- Wander the old town. Its beautiful streets are home to small independent shops with beautiful clothes, jewellery, restaurants, and monuments, such as the remains of Marbella Castle and La Encarnación Church. If you love photography, there are plenty of photo opportunities across Marbella’s old town. The lovely blue flower pots on the wall and the bougainvillaea flowers make it picturesque.
- Relax at one of Marbella’s big parks. You can go to Parque La Alameda, the most famous park, or Parque de la Constitución, where you’ll find the auditorium. Have a picnic or take a break from the sun on one of its benches in the shade.
- Go to the beach. With the sunny and mild temperatures all year round, you can visit Marbella beaches any time of the year. As a local, I wouldn’t swim in the sea in winter, but you might be brave enough to do it. The closest beaches are Playa Venus and Playa el Faro.
- Go for a walk on the beach promenade. Marbella has a lovely beach promenade where you can enjoy a tranquil stroll, stop at one of its cute cafes or restaurants to have food or sip a cocktail and watch the sunset. If you love riding a bike, this is a great place to do so.
Places to eat near Casa Aduar 10

Aduar 10 is less than a minute walk from cafes and restaurants, so if you don’t fancy making your meals at home, you’re spoilt for choice.
There are many good places to eat, but I highly recommend staying away from Orange Square because most restaurants are for tourists, you pay more, and the food quality isn’t always the best.
These are some recommended places:
- Mia Café (1 minute walk). Ideal for breakfast and a light lunch or dinner.
- El Boquerón (1 minute walk). It offers delicious tapas with a twist.
- Taberna Casa Blanca (5 minute walk). Perfect for Spanish tapas and a lively atmosphere.
- Casa del Mar (6 minute walk). Beautiful decoration and delicious Spanish and Mediterranean dishes.
If you decide to cook your meals at home, you’re within walking distance from Carrefour, a big supermarket where you can get anything you need, and Marbella Central Market.
Conclusion
Casa Aduar 10 is an excellent choice for couples, friends and families looking for a tranquil stay in the historic centre of Marbella and a doorstep from the beach.
