10 Best Cafes in Seville You Must Visit

If you’re looking for the best cafes in Seville, I’ve got you covered!

Seville coffee culture has evolved a lot in the last few years. The only places you used to find were small bars that served very few coffee options like the traditional café con leche (coffee with milk) and Spanish breakfast food like pan con tomate (bread with tomato).

However, if you fancy more than the traditional coffee and Andalusian breakfast, you can now find many coffee shops that serve anything from iced coffee and chai lattes for those who love tea to French toast and pancakes.

In this blog, I’m telling you about the best cafes in Seville near the city centre, which I tried during my trips to Seville, so you don’t need to go out of your way to get a coffee or have brunch.

The Best Cafes in Seville

1. Jester Coffee and Juices

If you’re looking for somewhere to grab a quick coffee and cake or sandwich, Jester is one of the best places to do so.

There isn’t indoor seating, but there are a few tables outside to sit down at, so you can order and wait for them to bring your food to the table.

Their juices and smoothies are delicious and made with fresh fruits. But if you want something more filling, go for their sandwiches or cakes.

I had the banana, kiwi and pear smoothie (recommended by the guy serving us), which really impressed me. I thought it was a weird combination, but it was delicious.

My friend ordered a cheesecake, and I wish I had ordered one too!

2. Filo

Filo is one of the most popular cafes in Seville, so if you want to go to this coffee shop, I highly recommend getting there early if possible. Queues aren’t a surprise.

Filo offers excellent coffee and other breakfast options – from sandwiches and pastries to smoothies and natural juices.

What’s good about Filo is that, unlike other coffee shops, it offers a traditional breakfast too. If you want a taste of Andalusia, make sure to order Desayuno Andaluz, which includes rustic bread with olive oil, tomato and ham, coffee, and delicious fresh-squeezed orange juice.

If you’re after smoothies, the Berry Nana won’t disappoint you. This orange, strawberry and banana juice is full of flavour.

3. La Cacharrería de Sevilla

Another popular breakfast restaurant and one of the best brunch places in Seville is La Cacharreria. It’s very well known for its delicious dishes and quirky decoration.

The best thing about La Cacharreria is the extensive breakfast and brunch menu, as you can literally eat anything you like – from smoothie bowls and waffles to sandwiches and even a traditional English breakfast.

If you plan to go to this cafe, try to go as early as possible as it often gets busy, which is another sign that tells you this place is worth visiting.

4. Feria 83

A less popular cafe in Seville that is worth visiting is Feria 83.

It’s located near the Alameda area, so if you stay somewhere close to this area, you need to add this coffee shop to your list.

It’s a family-run cafe that serves anything from sweet treats (pancakes, French toast and pastries) to savoury dishes like smoked salmon bagels.

The decor is very neat and simple but nice, and the staff is friendly too.

I was between the French toast and the acai bowl, but I went for the acai bowl as recommended by the waitress.

I’m glad I ordered it because it’s one of the best smoothie bowls I have had. Full of flavour and filling too.

5. Virgin Coffee

Any coffee lover must stop by Virgin Coffee. This coffee was the first speciality coffee shop in Sevilla. It opened in 2015.

They have a great selection of coffee beans, but if you aren’t sure about the ones you should have, the barista is very friendly and helps you pick the best one for you. You can get any coffee, from a cappuccino or iced coffee to an Americano.

Virgin Coffee is a grab-to-go place as it is very small and has no seating.

Whether you love tea, coffee or hot chocolate, Panther Organic coffee has them all! They have a great selection of coffees – macchiato, espresso, iced coffee and mocha, just so you have an idea – as well as teas.

This cafe offers not only high-quality hot drinks but also delicious sandwiches and healthy salads. If you want a twist on the traditional Spanish sandwiches (bocadillos), then you’ll love Panther’s sandwiches.

The ham-avocado and Ibérico-melt are a great twist on the typical ham sandwich, whereas If you aren’t a big fan of Spanish ham, go for their Avocado Caprese made with avocado, tomato and pesto.

And if you want a refreshing drink, because it gets very warm in Seville, they also serve frappes and smoothies.

7. Milk Away

If you’re looking for a healthy breakfast, Milk Away is the perfect option for you. This lovely coffee shop specialises in healthy breakfast and brunch dishes and has plenty of options for vegetarians, vegans, and those who follow a gluten-free diet.

Their smoothie bowls are a popular option, and you’ll never get bored of ordering these because they have plenty of different flavours – choco acai, pitaya, matcha, tropical and many more.

On top of their smoothie bowls, they also serve delicious toasts with savoury and sweet toppings, fresh salads, smoothies, juices and milkshakes.

If you’re visiting Seville in winter, order their warm and comforting porridge bowls with different nutritious ingredients.

La Mala Brunch is located under the famous Setas de Sevilla, so it’s a great breakfast option or quick coffee before visiting this must-see attraction in Seville.

The cafe offers indoor and outdoor seating, so you don’t normally have a problem waiting for a table.

They have an extensive menu with different coffee options and teas, as well as savoury and sweet dishes.

If you love pancakes, you’ll love their pancakes with berries and strawberry ice cream. I couldn’t recommend it more!

Another great option is their avocado on toast. It’s delicious, and the portion is very generous.

9. Parceria Cafe

A less central but great cafe is Parceria Cafe, a cute coffee shop that offers high-quality coffee and delicious breakfast options.

Here, you can find all sorts of coffee – affogato, V60, and Chemex flat white, to mention a few – but if you don’t drink coffee, their chai latte and matcha latte are a hit.

In terms of food items, you can have toast with many different toppings, waffles and cakes. What I love about Parceria Cafe is the fact that its bread and waffles are made with organic products.

On top of breakfast, they also have a brunch menu that includes smoked tuna, pastrami, and a savoury waffle with burrata and cherry tomatoes.

If you’re a remote worker, you must know that Parceria Cafe is a laptop-free zone!

10. Chok

A photo of the donuts at chok coffee in seville.

Chok isn’t the place where you’ll stop to sit down and have a coffee. Although they have some seating, it feels more like a takeaway.

Its counter will definitely catch your eye as they have plenty of different cakes – from doughnuts and croissants to brownies and cookies – and lots of flavours (Oreo, Biscoff, pistachio, strawberry and the list goes on).

It can be difficult to make up your mind with so many options, but no matter what you order, these cakes will blow your mind.

In addition to all these cakes and pastry options, they also sell chocolate bars. If it weren’t for the heat (it was 40 degrees), I would have brought some chocolate home.

This place is also great for vegans as there are many food options for vegans.
